Fitness Overview
Good fitness programs are designed to improve or maintain cardio respiratory fitness, flexibility, muscular strength and endurance, and body composition. You now know that regular physical activity and exercise can help you avoid preventable diseases and add to both the quality and length of your life.
Personal Trainer:
By doing your research and choosing wisely you will be able to form a connection with a personal trainer that can provide guidance, motivation and results. A personal trainer will help you either bulk up or slim down.
Gym Etiquette:
Giving out unsolicited advice to other members at the gym will simply bruise the other person’s ego and might not be viewed as helpful. Don’t give advice unless you are asked your opinion. Shower regularly and please remember to wear deodorant, if not for yourself, for those around you.
24 Hour Fitness:
Joining a 24 hours a day fitness gym allows you to workout whenever it is convenient for you! You can train anytime; day or night, whatever fits your schedule.
Some gyms may offer discounts for long term memberships, so know what you’re signing! If you sign up for a 36 month contract, you’ll be held to it, even if you stop going. Ask your friends or coach for advice when choosing a gym, but remember that not every gym is right for every person.
