Hot Flashes After Menopause

December 9th, 2007

As women you look forward to the end of menopause,
because you expect all of the unpleasant symptoms to go away.
Unfortunately the bodies’ hormone levels can still be out of balance
and some of the symptoms of menopause may still occur. One such
symptom is hot
flashes
. There are studies that are still being done to link hot
flashes to other possible causes. One study claims that insomnia and
hot flashes may be linked. With that, you have to find a premenopause
relief to treat those symptoms. As a matter of fact, premenopausal
women can still receive some of the same treatments that were
available for premenopause and menopause symptoms. This includes
prescription medicines, alternative medicines and nutrition and diet
changes for hot flash relief. Prescription medicine includes creams,
gels, pills and patches that you may have used during menopause.
Herbal treatments can include natural progestin creams such as Hot
Flash Freedom. It also includes teas, powders and supplement capsules
made from herbs such as black cohosh that has shown to be helpful
with hot flash relief.

Use A Menopause Cure That Could Make You Feel Better

December 6th, 2007

Fortunately or
unfortunately, depending on how you look at it, the menopause
transition does not happen overnight. The decrease in estrogen and
other reproductive hormones can go on for two to eight years. It all
depends on the individual woman and how her body works. Some women
are fortunate enough to pass through this time in their lives
relatively symptom free, while others have a hard time with hot
flashes, fatigue, and very often depression. The important thing
regardless of how you are handling all of the changes is to seek and
get the help you need.
