Many of us have dreamed of getting a 6 pack abs. Look at the great
abs that you see on TV and the movies and all those advertisements.

However, despite of what you may have heard or hear on TV or
radio, getting a 6 pack abs takes a lot of hard work. The only way to
get 6 pack abs fast is through exercise and a balanced diet. If you are overweight or
obese, then you need to shed the fat because your abs won’t show since the fat
is on top of your abdominal muscles.

There are many fitness and abdominal books, videos and whole
courses dedicated to teaching people how to get a 6 pack abs. One of the best
abdominal training books I have read is Mike Geary’s Truth about abs. He will

1. You must remain motivated to do the activities in order to
achieve the results. You need to choose exercises that you enjoy or learn to
enjoy the exercises you choose. Celebrate short term victories on your journey
to 6 pack abs. Remember, there are immediate benefits as well as long term
benefits. You must learn to recognize the benefits you are achieving as a
result of your daily plan.

2. You need to use a journal to record your daily activities
toward achieving your goal. A spiral notebook makes a wonderful journal because
the pages remain in chronological order. Develop the habit of reviewing the
entries in your journal at least once each week. This provides great
perspective on your progress.

3. Some people choose to gradually change their lifestyles in
order to begin their quest for great abs. Others choose to create a massive
action plan and make dramatic lifestyle changes immediately. You need to decide
whether you want to change gradually or create a MAP … then stick to your
decision.
