Energy Bars For Sport Nutrition May Not Improve Perfomance

August 23rd, 2007

Do you know that energy bars give less energy than a banana? You also need to be aware that some of them do not give sufficient energy that your body needs during exercise. In fact, you can obtain energy from regular foods such as cheese, yogurt, crackers, smoothie, peanut butter sandwich, and cereal bars which are cheaper than energy bars. Drinking plenty of water at regular intervals during workout and eating well after a workout should be enough.

Energy bars for sport nutrition contain no magic formula to help you excel in sports. They are great for strenuous, high-energy exercise or any heavy physical exertion since they can quickly replace energy that is used up during exercise. They do improve your energy level but your performance depends on your training.
